Common Proficiency Test (CPT) is the entry stage to become a Chartered Accountant. CPT syllabus consist of one paper divided into two sessions.

Section A:
Fundamentals of Accounting 60 Marks
Section B: Mercantile Laws 40 Marks
Session II:
Section C: General Economics 50 Marks
Section D: Quantitative Aptitude 50 Marks
For CPT level, study material of the Institute is sufficient for clearing the exams. However, students may refer following books in addition to the study material.
